PRESS RELEASE: GAME CHANGING NEW INITIATIVE FOR AUSTRALIAN EMPLOYMENT SERVICES
The Way Finders Network, Australia’s first online platform for people working in the employment services sector, has been launched and it’s set to be a real game changer in the industry.
Bounce Australia has been working with employment service providers and job seekers since 2006 and they understand the challenges that providers face like navigating a complicated system, managing high case-loads and trying to engage the long-term unemployed.
Maria Smith, Founder and CEO of Bounce Australia explains that there is little support out there for employment consultants, job coaches and managers, but The Way Finders Network is set to change all that.
“If you work in employment services, we know how hard it can be to engage job seekers, build relationships with employers and meet all the government reporting requirements. It can be extremely challenging.” said Ms Smith.
“The Way Finders Network is the first of its kind in Australia.”
“It’s an online platform where you can access tools, resources and soft-skills training designed to help you find solutions to engagement and ultimately help your job seekers find meaningful and long-term employment.” Ms Smith added.
“The website features podcasts with industry leaders who are showing the way when it comes to employment outcomes, practical blogs from our team of soft-skills experts, free webinar training and a whole heap more. It’s a real one-stop-shop and we’re incredibly excited to share it with the industry.”
“We hope that the platform will be utilised around the world and that we will eventually build a global community of Way Finders who are committed to helping others find their way from where they are now, to somewhere better.”
The Way Finders Network was officially launched that National Employment Services Association (NESA) Annual Conference in Melbourne on the 13th and 14th of August.
Over 300 people attended the conference and were able to sign up to the network during the two-day event.
“We were excited to launch our website at the number one employment services industry conference in the country.”
“With so many people travelling from all over the Australia to attend, we have been able to build our network quickly by demonstrating just how incredible the platform is and how much information and support is available to people who sign up.” Ms Smith said.
“Each month a range of new content will be released, and exclusive offers will be made available to people who join our community of Way Finders. There’s so much there to help you, help others find their way.”
