On August 7,2020 the 2020 SIP Awards announced the 2020 winners of the only internationally recognized consumer judging spirits competition.
SevenZeroEight, founded by international sportsman, Shane Warne, won 3 award accolades, including the most prestigious, SIP 2020 PLATINUM BEST IN CLASS, for its 23% low-alcohol, low calorie gin spirit, 23. In addition to the highest award, 23 also received the SIP 2020 INNOVATION AWARD, for its innovative and groundbreaking approach to a spirit. SevenZeroEight’s flagship 43% classic dry GIN took home the SIP 2020 GOLD MEDAL, its 4th award medal won in the past year.
Although SevenZeroEight has won several award medals around the world over the past year, the SIP Awards are especially important to the brand because it is consumer judged. This is the first award competition 23 has entered due to it’s unique category placement. SevenZeroEight 23 is one of the only mid-strength, low calorie gin inspired spirits in the spirits world. The conception of 23 came from Shane Warne himself. Shane wanted a mid-strength gin you could drink guilt free while enjoying long afternoons watching sport with friends and family.
