PRESS RELEASE: Black Swan Red Feathers Exhibition and Conference

The Communist Party of Australia, CPA celebrates 100 years of the communist movement in Western Australia.
“The CPA has been active in Aboriginal rights and played an important leading role in the Pilbara strikes with Don McLeod and other Party members involved in the campaign”, Dr Christopher Crouch, CPA WA State president said.
100 Red Years of history will be displayed at the Black Swan Red Feathers Exhibition opening on Thursday 29th October, 6-8pm at Perth Trades Hall (82 Beaufort St Perth).
The exhibition will remain open to the public on Friday 30 and Saturday 31st October from 11am to 4pm.
A conference will also be held jointly organised with the Australian Society for the Study of Labour History Perth branch on Sunday 1st November, 2pm to 5pm at Perth Trades Hall.
“The CPA is more than history and represents a real alternative for workers future and the planet. We fight for Socialism!”, concluded Vinnie Molina, Party president.
