PRESS RELEASE: Commercial kitchen equipment retailer Industry Kitchens takes 20-foot mobile showroom on three-town regional Roadshow for small-business hospitality operators

Australian commercial kitchen equipment retailer Industry Kitchens, together with major sponsor Phoeniks and finance partner SilverChef, is taking a 20-foot mobile commercial kitchen — the size of a shipping container — on the road to bring European cooking equipment directly to small-business hospitality operators who can’t easily reach a metropolitan showroom.
The Industry Kitchens Regional Roadshow runs from Tuesday 2 to Thursday 4 June 2026, stopping at Carboni’s Italian Kitchen in Ballarat on Tuesday, The Botanical Hotel in Bendigo on Wednesday, and The Lincoln in Albury-Wodonga on Thursday. Live equipment presentations run each afternoon from 2pm to 4pm. Entry is free for cafe owners, restaurateurs, head chefs, caterers, publicans, club managers, aged care food service managers, builders and designers. Registered attendees go in the draw to win a Valentine deep fryer.
For the small-business operator weighing up a major kitchen equipment purchase, the trip from regional Victoria to a Melbourne showroom is often a deal-breaker — three and a half hours each way from Albury-Wodonga, around two hours from Bendigo, nearly two hours from Ballarat to Phoeniks’ Nunawading showroom in Melbourne’s east. The Roadshow flips that dynamic by bringing the showroom to the operator’s main street.
Inside the trailer: MKN combi ovens (Germany), Adventys induction cooktops (France), Valentine deep fryers (France) and Brunner-Anliker vegetable cutters (Switzerland) — a curated line-up of Phoeniks’ European brands and a strong supporting brands from Smeg Professional, Brice Deli Slicers and Vito Oil Filters, all of them available to inspect with 5 commercial cooking equipment experts.
“Our online store does the heavy lifting on research and price for thousands of hospitality operators across Australia — full specs, real pricing, fast delivery. The Roadshow is the natural next step in that experience for our regional customers: putting your hands on the equipment you’ve been comparing online, watching it run, and talking to the people who know it best,” said Tim Keenan, Managing Director of Industry Kitchens. “That’s what this Roadshow is about. See. Touch. Experience.”
Clovis Morin, Sales Manager of Phoeniks, added: “The equipment we’re bringing on the road — MKN, Valentine, Adventys and Brunner-Anliker — is European-engineered to a standard you find in Australia’s most respected kitchens. Quality of this calibre rewards the operator who specifies it; there is no substitute for putting your hands on the machine and seeing it run before you commit to it.”
SilverChef finance will be on site at each stop to walk operators through rent-try-buy and equipment finance options designed for small and growing hospitality businesses.
Registration is free via Eventbrite. Search “Phoeniks SilverChef Industry Kitchens” plus the town name on eventbrite.com.au.
