Securus launches flexible monitored security solutions for temporary sites

Perth, Western Australia, 13 July 2026: Leading Western Australian security company Securus has launched Securus Onsite, a new range of flexible security solutions designed to help protect construction projects, temporary locations, remote sites and other situations where permanent infrastructure may not be practical.

The Securus Onsite range includes two complementary products: Securus Onsite Autonomous CCTV Towers and Securus Onsite Wireless Security. Together, they give customers a practical way to protect both open external areas and internal structures where fixed power, cabling or permanent infrastructure may not be available.

Securus Onsite Autonomous CCTV Towers provide visible surveillance and deterrence across open site areas. Powered by solar and connected via 4G/5G networks, the towers are designed for rapid deployment in locations where fixed power, cabling or permanent CCTV infrastructure may not be available.

Each tower is built bespoke and can be customised depending on the client’s site, risk profile and operational requirements. This allows Securus to tailor tower configuration, camera selection, power requirements, communications and monitoring options to suit different industries and environments.

A key point of difference is that Securus Onsite CCTV Towers can be monitored through ARM Security’s 24/7 Perth-based ASIAL Grade A1 Monitoring Centre, giving customers access to trained local operators who can assess and action activations.

Securus General Manager Jeremy Hopfmueller said this combination of customisation, engineering and local monitoring was what set Securus Onsite apart from many other solar tower options on the market.

“Solar CCTV Towers are becoming more common, but Securus Onsite is not just about putting a camera tower on a site,” Hopfmueller said.

“Our CCTV Towers are customised around the client’s requirements and built for Australian conditions, whether that relates to the site layout, camera coverage, communications, monitoring or power needs.

“They are fully engineered structural steel towers, designed for demanding Australian conditions and supported by advanced battery systems that can maintain operation through the night, during periods of low light and for extended periods of up to 11 days.

“What makes Securus Onsite different is the monitoring behind it.

“The CCTV Towers can be connected back to our Perth-based ASIAL Grade A1 Monitoring Centre, ARM Security, so activations can be reviewed by trained operators and dealt with through a coordinated response process.

“That is very different to a setup that is only recording footage for someone to look at after the event.

“For customers, that provides greater confidence that their site is being actively supported by a professional monitoring process.”

The CCTV Towers are suited to construction sites, building sites, rental properties, mining and industrial locations, rural and remote properties, events, council sites, equipment yards, compounds and storage areas.

Securus Onsite Wireless Security has been developed to protect internal structures on building and construction sites where a traditional wired alarm system may not be suitable. The system can be installed without fixed cabling and can be adjusted, expanded or relocated as site requirements change.

It can include wireless motion detection, door and window protection, sirens, keypads, image verification devices, mobile app control and monitored alarm response.

When used together, the CCTV towers and Wireless Security system provide a layered security solution. The towers support external site visibility and deterrence, while Wireless Security helps protect internal areas of buildings without the need for time-consuming fit-outs and permanent fittings, including entry points, enclosed sections, plant rooms, storage areas and equipment zones.

Hopfmueller said the combined approach was particularly useful for active and changing sites.

“Many worksites change from week to week,” he said.

“Access points move, equipment is relocated and different areas become higher risk as a project progresses. Securus Onsite gives customers the flexibility to adapt their security as the site changes.

“The CCTV tower can help protect the wider external area, while Wireless Security can be used inside buildings under construction and other internal structures that need extra protection. Both can be supported through professional 24/7 monitoring, which gives customers a more complete onsite security solution.”

Securus Onsite is designed for customers who need practical, flexible and locally supported security without committing to permanent infrastructure.
