Palmers Lane Estate’s walkable wine experience gets even better as Entwine expands its trading days
HUNTER VALLEY, NSW – Palmers Lane Estate, home to 10 self-contained lodges and the unique Palmers Lane Wine EcoTrail connecting four family-owned Hunter Valley wineries, has even more to offer overnight visitors, with Calais Estate’s popular Entwine experience expanding from weekend-only trading to operate Thursday through Sunday.
The expanded schedule gives guests staying at Palmers Lane Estate greater flexibility to enjoy one of the Hunter Valley’s food, wine and entertainment experiences while leaving the car behind.
Located within walking distance of Calais Estate, guests can enjoy an afternoon or evening at Entwine before strolling back to their accommodation rather than worrying about driving home. The following morning, they can continue exploring the Palmers Lane Wine EcoTrail on foot or by bike, making it easy to turn a dining experience into a relaxed Hunter Valley escape.
“Our central Pokolbin location combined with the Wine EcoTrail is what brings many guests to us, and Entwine has become a great way to round out a stay here,” said Guy Fens, Owner of Palmers Lane Estate.
“Expanding the trading days gives guests more flexibility to include Entwine as part of their visit, while still having time to explore the trail and experience more of what the Hunter Valley has to offer.”
The Palmers Lane Wine EcoTrail
The Palmers Lane Wine EcoTrail is a self-guided walking and cycling experience connecting four family-owned cellar doors – Calais Estate, Horner Wines, John Wallace Wines and Moorebank Vineyard – along a 750-metre stretch in the heart of Pokolbin.
The trail takes approximately 15 minutes to walk between cellar doors, or under five minutes by bike, allowing visitors to explore the wineries at their own pace. Bike hire is available through Grape Mobile Bike Hire.
