Australia and Canada unite for a not-to-be-missed Ukrainian dance spectacular

When you think of Ukrainian dance, imagine vivid and colourful costumes, energetic, can’t-help-but-clap-your-hands music, and acrobatic manoeuvres that will make your jaw drop.

This is what you can expect to see when Canada’s Cheremosh Ukrainian Dance Company and Melbourne’s own Lehenda Ukrainian Dance Company join forces to bring Australian audiences an exciting new national production, RAZOM – Two Nations, One Spirit.

‘RAZOM’ means ‘together’ in Ukrainian. This new show brings together two Ukrainian dance ensembles from Canada and Australia with a joint passion for sharing the spirit and energy of Ukrainian dance.

RAZOM is a feast for the eyes and ears, featuring 80 Ukrainian dancers in an exhilarating explosion of colour, youthful exuberance and boundless energy. Experience rich and vibrant costumes that’ll make you ooh and ahh, music that is guaranteed to make you tap your feet, and dancers so strong and flexible.
