TOWNSVILLE, QUEENSLAND – 1 APRIL 2019- A popular, boutique pet resort, Yapper Valley based in Townsville, is running a competition in which entrants can win a lifestyle package consisting of a house, land, cash and a very profitable pet resort business.
Since opening five years ago, Yapper Valley Pet Resort has become one of the most highly regarded pet resorts in the Townsville area. Taking on a unique approach to the pet resort industry, Yapper Valley provides luxury accommodation to pets in individual airconditioned cabins which include TV’s for the dogs in their care.
The package has been appraised at over 1.5 million dollars with the winner walking into a fresh start with no debt, a functioning and thriving business, $30,000 in cash, a beautiful home and 110 acres for them to explore and enjoy. Yapper Valley Pet Resort owner Natalie Giumelli states “This competition will give someone the opportunity to have a lifestyle package that they may not be able to achieve through conventional channels. This gives someone who has the passion and drive, the opportunity to thrive in their very own business, when they may not have the financial means to do so otherwise.”
The prize isn’t just a business though, as there is also a four bedroom, two bathroom near new home on 110 acres included in the package. “Having this land and lifestyle has allowed me to have not only a successful business, but not compromise on enjoying the rewards of having a large farming block. Spending my days playing with dogs and cats, then heading home to bottle feed baby goats and calves with my children has been an amazing and irreplaceable experience.”
Currently the resort is fully run by staff, with the winners able to choose to leave it as is, take over themselves or appoint live in caretakers and reap the benefits. The property is owned freehold so there is no ongoing rent or leases.
The decision to move on to her next business has not been an easy one to make, with Natalie stating “having a business like this has allowed me to explore where we will head next. Kicking off on the 1st of April, the competition will run for 12 weeks and be drawn on the 22nd of June 2019. To enter, entrants will need to purchase a downloadable digital image for $55. To receive the full prize, a minimum of 40,000 tickets need to be sold. If less than 40,000 tickets are sold, the winner will walk away with half of the money raised.
