Sydney: Sydney is about to turn freaky with the launch of Sydney’s first fully immersive Virtual Reality entertainment venue launching this summer, FREAK.
FREAK, located at the iFLY Indoor Skydiving facility in Penrith, is a free roam, multiplayer virtual reality entertainment experience that offers the user the most cutting edge, real life 4D encounter available in Sydney.

FREAK offers two unique experiences:
1. The Arena. Only for the brave and adventurous, The Arena offers up to 4 players’ absolute freedom to explore their intensive virtual world. Walk around untethered with total freedom of movement while exploring a parallel universe, solving escape room challenges or fighting for your virtual survival!
Tested and selected by former elite Special Forces soldiers, this experience will see you exploring a parallel universe solving challenges or fighting for survival against an army of zombies!
With two of the world’s leading VR arena scale games on offer prices at the Arena start at RRP$59PP for 30 minutes.
2. The Arcade. Choose from a selection of carefully curated and selected games considered the most addictive VR games on the planet; stand in your own personal VR pod and play single or multiplayer options.
Family friendly and highly addictive The Arcade is for 1-6 players, and start at RRP$20pp for 20 minutes.

The Arena:
• Arizona Sunshine LBVR (R18)
Join forces with up to 4 players and take on the brain-hungry undead as they lurch out of the surrounding canyons to attack you, wave after wave. Can your squad hold out long enough to set a new record?
A VR experience that lets you freely roam a post-apocalyptic world by moving around in the real world. Interact with up to four friends in one warehouse-scale arena, and interact with your fellow survivors in the real-world space for the optimal chances of survival. Jump in guns blazing or operate together tactically – it all depends on your play style and what your mission requires.
Based on the critically acclaimed and platinum selling “Arizona Sunshine” VR game available on PC and PS4, Arizona Sunshine LBVR (Location Based VR) features completely new maps and gameplay designed for arena scale venues.

• Corsairs Curse (PG)
The Corsair’s Curse is a fairy tale-like 4D free roam VR adventure that drops two to four players of all ages into the enchanted galleon of the wicked Corsair. Cursed to be either extremely big or small, players will need to collaborate across dimensions and take clever advantage of their newfound sizes in order to find a way out of their bizarre predicament and escape the vessel with the Corsair’s prized treasure in hand.
Corsairs Curse is an arena-scale game designed by Inner space, the team that built “A Fisherman’s Tale” which recently won the VR Game of the Year at the 2019 VR Awards in November.
