SYDNEY, Australia – (02/04/2020) With the devastation caused by the intense bushfire crisis in Australia across the holiday season in 2019 and 2020, Australian company AUDREY REEFS has donated several thousand of its organic cotton sanitary pads and other daily essentials to the St. Vincent de Paul Society NSW (a.k.a. Vinnies). The donation will be used to replenish stocks for disaster relief and at women’s shelters run by the charity.

With its roots in Australia, AUDREY REEFS has a deep connection to the people and land of Australia, and the decision was made easily to make this donation to contribute to Vinnies’ assistance efforts. The donation of supplies to Vinnies included organic cotton sanitary pads, natural toothpaste and toothbrushes for both adults and children. The donation was delivered to Vinnies NSW’s State Support Office in Lewisham on Friday January 27th, and will be distributed to their locations in NSW according to needs.

“We really appreciate this donation from AUDREY REEFS. The pads, toothpaste, and toothbrushes they’ve provided are essential items yet they’re often overlooked. The timing of the donation is also amazing, not just because of the high demand for our support from the victims of the bushfires recently, but also because the Christmas and New Year season is particularly notorious for domestic problems that result in displaced families along with women and children who need a place to stay,” said Jack de Groot, CEO of Vinnies NSW.

A spokesperson for AUDREY REEFS also commented, “We are ready to do what we can to help through Vinnies. They do a great job in the community here in Australia and around the world, so to be a part of that and assist them in this way is something we’re really proud of.”

With their expansion in Australia for the upcoming launch of their women’s hygiene and lifestyle brand Audrey Sun, AUDREY REEFS plans to continue supporting Vinnies’ invaluable work with further donations in the future.
