Australian company TracknWatch has released an innovative phone app in response to the number of groups and persons defying government-imposed COVID-19 restrictions. The sophisticated yet user-friendly software allows any person with a smartphone to live-stream concerning situations which may increase the general public’s exposure to the virus.

Users simply register once by downloading the Tracknwatch app on their phone and can then send live-stream video, whilst their location is automatically registered and securely stored with relevant authorities.

The recorded videos and location details can also be used at a later date as evidence of any serious breaches of the regulations and/or requirements.

Tracknwatch was originally developed over a three-year period for use by emergency services globally, allowing first responders to live-stream video and location data from unfolding incidents directly to control centres monitoring the situation from afar.

The app has now been re-purposed for the current COVID-19 crisis.
Emergency management centres can be authorised to access the main interface where they can monitor thousands of livestreams or review previous livestreams all of which are recorded on a dedicated two-step authenticated server.
Modifications and added functionality are available to suit specific needs as required.

5. Linking and fair-use
