The Directors of Silk Contract Logistics Pty Ltd (SCL) are excited to announce the acquisition of the Victorian-based wharf carrier, Rocke Brothers Pty Ltd.
Mr Brendan Boyd, the Managing Director of SCL, stated that “the purchase of Rocke Brothers marks an historic moment in the journey of both businesses”.
“Rocke Brothers is a significant operator in the cartage of containers to and from the Melbourne waterfront with a reputation for safety, quality and customer service.
“This purchase marks the coming together of two dynamic Australian logistics companies, each with a strong history in the Australian transport and logistics industry.
“This announcement marks an exciting next step in SCL’s journey and aligns with the strategy SCL has held for the past five years in relation to growth and a vision to be recognised by our target customers as their partner of choice in the provision of integrated logistics solutions.”
