PRESS RELEASE: Students can start university on time in 2021 without an ATAR.
As the education sector hurries online in response to COVID-19, Queensland based training provider Look Now Training is celebrating their new partnership with international institution Torrens University, who join the University of the Sunshine Coast, as part of Look Now Trainings’ Alternate Pathway Program.
Alternate pathways are becoming increasingly popular as they guarantee university entry without students having to rely on the ATAR or other high school-based scores.
This means that students who couldn’t attend university directly from school, or those affected by school shutdowns due to COVID-19 can complete the Diploma of Business and use this qualification as a means to University next year

Studying online is particularly attractive in the current global climate where travel is uncertain and isolation requirements are jeopardizing the future for our year 12 students. Look Now Training is headquartered on the Sunshine Coast; however courses are delivered online and can be accessed by students nationally. Students can complete a nationally accredited Diploma of Business in under a year if they choose, meaning anyone enrolling now could be qualified and starting university in 2021.
How does this work in practice? Students complete their Diploma of Business online through Look Now Training and simply apply to complete an approved Bachelor of Business or Commerce through the Sunshine Coast or Torrens Universities. Admission into and credit towards Degree completion, equivalent to one year of study is guaranteed through these partnerships.
