After successfully delivering 6 COVID Safe events across 2021-22, Beerfest returns to the Fremantle Esplanade to deliver WA’s favourite Craft Beer event! The 2021 Fremantle Beerfest will be bigger than ever with plans to expand the 2021 site across Wardan Lane to help fit larger on-site attractions, programs, and activities.
The annual Freo Beerfest, presented by Little Creatures is the largest meeting place of Western Australian producers with over 300 unique, exotic, and small batch craft beers, ciders, cocktails over 3 days at the Fremantle Esplanade Park.
With more brewers delivering big, the site will also grow larger to accommodate the interactive good times! Complementing the 60 on site activations will be:
• Little Creatures rooftop container bar and beer garden
• Beerfarm fun zone with their very own brass brand, table tennis, pool tables and the Bow Wow Brau Bar; a self-serve non-alcoholic Dog Beer for the dogs and dog lovers!
• Froth Craft Beer fun bus, Belafonte, returns hosting intimate brewer sessions
• Funk Cider container bar
• Shelter Brewing Boat Bar
• Mash Can Van
• Blasta Container Bar
• Feral Biggie Bar and beer garden

At Freo Beerfest, festivalgoers are taken on the ultimate journey of beer and food discovery; exploring rare and exclusive festival brews, ciders and one-of-a-kind cocktails, complimented perfectly by the best in local street food. It’s a place to sample the new and enjoy your favourites.

Fremantle legends, Little Creatures returns as presenting partner with a range of brand-new beers not yet seen at BeerFest, launching their Raspberry Florida Weisse with a bang along with their brand-new Pacific Ale and Hazy IPA.
A major highlight of the festival will be the Cryer Malt Masterclass and Brewers stage presented by The WA Brewers Association.
Delivered in partnership with Fremantle Beerfest and hosted by industry legend, Steven Blaine, there will be a massive variety of masterclasses, food and beer pairings, brewers chats and some cheeky trivia to get the beer and laughs flowing at the weekend festival.
“Freo Beerfest is all about WA’s love for local beer – the masterclasses, chats and tastings are an awesome way to explore beer and some of the unique brews coming out of WA,” said WA Brewers Association president, Andy Scade.
“We’ve got heaps of fun sessions planned like brewery quizzes, malt sack races and of course, plenty of free tastings to get your tastebuds fired up.”
“For people who may not have stepped into the world of craft beer before – the classes and tastings are the perfect opportunity to do so.” The masterclass sessions run all weekend and are free with a ticket.
