Akili is releasing an exclusive range of natural homeware skillfully crafted by rural women in Tanzania, Africa. Each piece features a light and breezy tone perfect for embellishing your home with a Coastal feel in the leadup to the warmer months of the year.

Featuring sustainably sourced papyrus and star grasses woven with white threads upcycled grain sacks. The neutral palette helps to create a light and inviting home environment.

The exclusive homeware collection features wall hangings, baskets, placemats, coasters and trays.

“I’ve always had a weak spot for authentic home decoration pieces. Yet, it warms my heart and my home to know each piece has been made with 100% natural and upcycled materials and, most importantly, has contributed to empowering Tanzanian women.
