PRESS RELEASE: SYDNEY’S SCARIEST HALLOWEEN EXPERIENCE IS ON AT LUNA PARK THIS OCTOBER

This October, for seven frightful nights, the witches will descend on Luna Park to cast their wicked spells at Halloscream 9: Curse of the Coven. The Curse of the Coven will deliver new sights and shocks never seen before as Luna Park transforms into a terror town under the enchantment of the coven.

Halloscream 9 is back – bigger, better, more hair-raising than ever and with 3 scare mazes. Navigate your way through Outback Butcher, where gruesome scenes and characters are out for your life, shop at Decaymart 365, an abandoned supermarket bloodier, scarier and more immersive than you thought possible, and Rain Dead, a secret testing facility with sinister happenings behind its doors.

Luna Park’s iconic Coney Island, turned house-of-horror, will exhibit the ‘House of Hex”, an experimental attraction where the witches with conjure up the most sinister of spells. Prepare for seances, kaleidoscopic visuals and a performance to tell a story that will send shivers down your spine.

Luna Park’s midway will be filled with roaming zombies, misguided outback creatures, and of course our coven of witches. This year, Halloscream will introduce a brand-new outdoor escape game, challenging our guests to undertake four in-park pursuits to crack the code, and break the Curse of the Coven. Can you rise to the challenge?

Halloween costumes and wicked make-up looks are strongly encouraged, however full-face make up or coverings will not be permitted. Guests must ensure they remain identifiable.
Tickets for the night of all nights will start at $54.95. Tickets will include Unlimited Rides, three out of this world scare mazes and some fierce entertainment all night long.

Important Halloscream 9: Curse of the Coven conditions apply. Tickets are only valid on the selected night and are sold on a release schedule according to availability. Masks are mandatory attire in Halloscream Mazes and must be worn at all times during this attraction.
