PRESS RELEASE: Thank you for the Royal Commission into ADF and DVA veteran suicides

My application to run for the Senate in Victoria reads:

I speak and research amongst as many Ex Service Organisations ( ESOs) as I can as I believe we can win if there are communications and respect amongst ourselves first.

To stop veteran suicides!!!! To improve the ADF medical discharge procedures with Commitment, team building, never giving up and thorough fact finding.

My motivations are deep and intense, but private.

Truth always rises to the surface. I am not going to be concerned about what people think of me; I just keep working on my goals to research the maladministration and causes of veteran suicides and I will keep exposing those correctable systemic issues until the Job is done, preferably with a successful outcome.

Helping to reduce, preferably stop, ADF and DVA veteran suicides.

I disagree with preventing people from speaking, not listening to and not hearing their opinions. My view is that honesty is the best policy and that, if you apply yourself and work hard, you’ll get there in the end.

Given a bad experience in 2009, I fear trolls on Twitter as. I reached out to other injured veterans and was trolled by anonymous vigilantes who target victims.

If I’m not successful, that’s fine too as I would remain behind those who do get elected and still offer to share my networks, research skills, experiences and support.

Over a 15 year period, I assisted retired Duntroon Officer Cadet to prepare and champion a retrospective and successful medical claim. My fourth referee is therefore a 1983 Duntroon cadet’s brother-in-law, an Investigative Journalist who will confirm that I worked on this case and its outcome for a total of 15 years.
