PRESS RELEASE: Senia Lawyers fights for Manivel Against CRYPTO.COM : Was 10 Million really a mistake?

The Crypto.com business is attempting to reclaim $10.7 million in assets that were transmitted to Thevamangogari Manivel in Melbourne ‘by mistake’.
Foris GFS’ barrister Mark McKillop said the crypto business wanted to extend an existing freezing order against Ms Manivel’s assets to include her offshore possessions during a court hearing in the Supreme Court of Victoria on Wednesday.
In counter her attorney Mr. Mirankot from Senia Lawyers and barrister Mr Willian Lye QC said, “That their client did not deny receiving the $10.7 million in her bank account, but argued that it was on Foris GFS to prove the funds were transferred by mistake.”
Mr. Mirankot said, “The delay in finding the alleged mistake saying after three financial quarters, the corporation discovered a huge black hole in the balance sheet.” Further, he added, “That onus is on crypto.com and it’s very strange that how such a huge amount goes unnoticed for such a long duration of time.”
Every day, this case is in discovery, and Senia Lawyers has been active and defending the client, taking into account every minute detail and studying every facet of the case. Senia Lawyers accepted this case on 09th February 2022.
