PRESS RELEASE: DUAL OLYMPIAN RAISES FUNDS FOR FAMILIES IN UKRAINE

A two-time Ukrainian Olympian gymnast is crowdfunding for families who have been affected by the current war in Ukraine.

Alyona Kvasha, a dual-Olympian gymnast originally from Ukraine, is raising vital funds to support families who are struggling to survive in her home country as a result of the devastating Russian invasion

Currently living in Melbourne with her husband and 2 children, Ms Kvasha is devastated and heartbroken and is constantly fearing for the safety and lives of her friends, family and community in Ukraine.

“While I feel heartbroken and very emotional I’m trying to think how I can help the people that I know who have lost everything.” Ms Kvasha says.
