PRESS RELEASE: Why are more and more Australians opting for Dry January

Dry January used to be something only the Northern Hemisphere participated in but this year Grey Area Drinking Coach Sarah Rusbatch is seeing more and more Australians opting to go dry this January. “After a boozy festive season and many people fed up with feeling tired, bloated, anxious and unmotivated there has been a huge movement towards taking January off the booze” she says. “Starting the new year feeling energised, clear headed and focused sets us up to achieve many of our goals and we all know how hard it is to eat well, exercise, play with the kids or hit work targets with a stinking hangover. I believe dry January will grow more and more over the next few years. Already my 30 day january sober challenge that starts on Sunday has a huge increase in numbers this year”
