PRESS RELEASE: Therapy Pro Wins ‘Best Early Intervention Program’ for the Third Year in a Row
Therapy Pro secures One Community’s prestigious ‘Best Early Intervention Program’ Award for its innovative ‘Team Around the Child’ model.
On 23 November 2023, One Community named Therapy Pro the winner of the Best Early Intervention Program at the 2023 Australian Disability Service Conference and Awards. The esteemed award recognises excellence and honours innovation in early intervention models that demonstrate positive outcomes effectively reducing the need for ongoing support.

Therapy Pro’s accolade stems from the focus on working with parents and carers to build skills through a ‘family coaching’ model to develop key strategies such as routines-based approaches, matched to their identified goals and priorities. This model underscores that children’s significant learning occurs between therapy sessions. Individual therapy cannot be the only driver of development. Instead, children’s meaningful participation in everyday activities and environments drives their development.
Therapy Pro was shortlisted for this award alongside outstanding therapy providers AEIOU Foundation and The Lizard Centre, and dedicated community organisation Abilities Unlimited Australia.
Therapy Pro stood out to the experienced panel of industry-aligned judges. This third consecutive win for Therapy Pro solidifies their commitment to the multidisciplinary Team Around the Child model that has helped shape the success of their Therapy Pro for Kids Teams.
