‘Sumo International Downunder’

Downunder,” a unique cultural event showcasing champion sumo wrestlers from the USA
and Japan, including Netflix star of Sanctuary Hiroki Sumi. Scheduled for 19th January in
Melbourne at Festival Hall and 21st January in Sydney at Aware Super Theatre, this
family-friendly event promises an authentic and engaging display of sumo wrestling.

culture, and entertainment. It’s an opportunity to experience the rich history and athleticism

sumo wrestling, offering an exclusive and interactive experience. This opportunity, coupled
with an exclusive meet-and-greet session with the sumo champions, including Ichi, makes

The event will also include a Tyko Japanese drumming pre-show, creating an immersive
atmosphere. It aims to educate and entertain, with an announcer introducing the sport and
its cultural significance, followed by sumo matches showcasing the skill and strategy of the
athletes.
