PRESS RELEASE: Premier League Swimming Superteams hits Brisbane this Sunday

This brand new swimming concept hits Brisbane this Sunday at the iconic Valley Pool with 64 swimmers from all around the world converging to take on the SUPERTEAMS challenge. With many Olympic hopefuls competing, and using this event as part of their training for Olympic Trials, this is sure to be a spectacular night of swimming entertainment.

The concept was born out of a desire to make swimming entertaining, and as such there are no times, just 8 teams going head to head for points and challenging for the $10,000 prize pool. With teams entering from Engine, Arena, Finis, Musashi and celebrity teams from Klim Swim and Brett Hawkes Sprint revolution and even a team flying in from New Zealand this is sure to be two hours of entertainment not to miss in Brisbane on Sunday at 4pm.

There was even a draft where swimmers from all over Australia could enter to become drafted into one of these teams. The draft was held on Monday 26th February and 32 swimmers were selected to compete alongside their Olympic heroes.

The event even has a Live Band and a DJ to keep spectators in the mood throughout the two hour sporting spectacle. This is the only SUPERTEAMS Event being held this year in Australia by the Premier League Swimming team so don’t miss out and grab tickets today.
