PRESS RELEASE: AHHA welcomes new Board Members at 2024 AGM
The Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association (AHHA) is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Board Members at the 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM).
‘We are delighted to welcome Nicole Bartholomeusz, CEO of coHealth and Annette Crothers, Chair and founding director of Marathon Health, as newly elected members of the AHHA Board,’ says AHHA Chief Executive Kylie Woolcock.
‘Nicole and Annette bring extensive experience and expertise, making them valuable additions to the AHHA Board.’
Nicole Bartholomeusz is passionate about community health and committed to the mission of improving health in partnership with individuals and the community. Growing up in rural Australia, she has focused her career on social justice and health equity.
She brings extensive governance experience, having served on several Boards in community health and primary care, hospitals, universities and Medicare Locals/Primary Health Networks. Committed to addressing the social determinants of health, she is also Co-Chair of the Australian Health, Housing and Homelessness Network.
Annette Crothers has over 20 years of experience as a clinical occupational therapist, working in both rural and metropolitan areas. She possesses extensive expertise in governance and policy development within NSW Health’s primary health care sector, and a strong focus on community, consumer and stakeholder input in service planning and evaluation.
During her time as Chair of Marathon Health, the organisation has grown substantially in revenue and staff, while building and maintaining an innovative and aspirational organisational culture and high quality clinical practices. Annette is also a member of the Western NSW Local Health District Board.
AHHA would also like to acknowledge the dedication and contributions of outgoing AHHA Board members, Michael Culhane from ACT Health Directorate and Kim Webber from coHealth.
