Gemelli’s restaurant group is launching a new Gelateria in the heart of Nobby’s Beach Oxley Precinct in time for the Christmas holidays.

Opening on Monday 23rd December Gelato Gemelli epitomises the focus on authenticity, flavour and quality that each of the four Gemelli Restaurant Group eateries across the Gold Coast and Brisbane has become renowned for.

In celebration of this momentous occasion Gelato Gemelli will be handing out free ice cream from 11am 11am – 2pm and from 2pm – until closing two gelato for the price of one.

According to Alec Carney (one of the three Gemelli brothers) this new Geletaria is a celebration of the culture and food that embodies their Italian upbringing.

“We’ve been a part of the Nobby’s Beach dining scene for well over half a decade now with Gemellini’s and we cannot wait to showcase authentic Italian Gelati right at the very heart of one of the city’s most vibrant dining precincts,” said Mr Carney.

“Everyting that we value as a family around lifestyle, food and family is represented by Gelato Gemilli and we cannot wait to serve our handmade creations using only the freshest quality ingredients to customer across the Christmas and New Year period and over the summer.”

About Gemelli Italian

Gemelli simply translates from Italian to twins, which is exactly what we are. Coming from a family of Italian heritage we were brought up to appreciate good food and most importantly, how to cook it! Whether it be the annual sauce and salami making with Nonno, or simply sharing a glass of wine with family and friends, we have always had a passion for Italian food and culture. With mostly all imported products from Italy, we have created a menu which is food we love to eat at home. Being located across three locations on the Gold Coast (Broadbeach, Sorrento, Nobby's Beach) and in James Street Brisbane, we have access to some of the highest quality seafood and meat which we incorporate into our dishes. All our pasta is made fresh, in-house fresh daily with 00 flour & free-range eggs. Our pizza is woodfired and cooked in a traditional way.
