PRESS RELEASE: Public Safety Training and Response Group Announced as Platinum Sponsor for 2025 Australian Open Indoor Skydiving Championships

National emergency training leader partners with XRGroup to elevate Australia’s premier indoor skydiving competition.
Sydney, Australia: The organisers of the 2025 Australian Open Indoor Skydiving Championships, in partnership with XRGroup Limited, are proud to announce Public Safety Training and Response Group as the event’s official Platinum Sponsor.
The Championships will take place from 8–10 August 2025 at iFLY Indoor Skydiving Downunder in Penrith, Western Sydney — home to the largest indoor skydiving wind tunnel in the Southern Hemisphere. The event will bring together Australia’s top flyers and emerging talent in a high-energy, multi-day competition set to be the most exciting in the sport’s national calendar.
More than 100 teams are expected to compete across a range of disciplines, including Formation Skydiving, Vertical Formation Skydiving, Dynamic, Freestyle and the All Abilities category. Spectators are invited to attend free of charge.
Public Safety Training and Response Group delivers nationally accredited training and emergency response services across disaster preparedness, land and sea search and rescue, incident management and emergency equipment supply. Most recently, the team played a critical role in post-Cyclone Alfred recovery efforts, inspecting infrastructure and ensuring public safety across Brisbane.
Managing Director Edward Andrews, a passionate flyer at iFLY Indoor Skydiving Gold Coast who has introduced many newcomers to the sport, shared his enthusiasm for the partnership:
“There’s always a buzz around the Championships, and Public Safety Training and Response Group is proud to come on board as Platinum Sponsor. We hope this support helps attract more teams by reducing registration fees, covering coach slots, and contributing to cash prizes.”
Holly Jaadla, Entertainment Marketing Manager at XRGroup, said the partnership was a natural fit:
“Public Safety Training and Response Group embodies the professionalism, community spirit and resilience we see in the indoor skydiving world. Their support will help elevate this year’s Championships, not just as a competition, but as an experience that inspires new flyers and connects the broader public with this incredible sport.”
Sponsorship opportunities remain open for a limited time.
The organisers are currently welcoming additional category sponsors and in-kind partners to support this landmark event. With brand exposure across digital campaigns, on-site activations and national media outreach, it’s a standout opportunity for businesses looking to connect with a dynamic and growing audience.
