“We love travelling with family and friends — it just makes holidays more fun and memorable,” says Heather, a interior designer. “But we kept running into the same issues: not enough bathrooms, too many shared spaces, and accommodation that felt more practical than inspiring. We wanted to change that.”

So, the couple designed their dream escape — and opened the doors for others to enjoy it too.

Just a 400m stroll to Trial Bay, SOLACE features five king-size bedrooms (each with its own ensuite), a north-facing alfresco and pool area to capture winter sun, and warm, Mediterranean-inspired interiors worthy of a design magazine. “It’s Airbnb meets Amalfi… without needing to fly halfway across the world,” says Heather.
