New Single “Toxic Teddy Bear” Exposes the Sweetest Kind of Manipulation
Perth, Australia – July 10, 2025 — Indie-pop newcomer Hannah Stow drops a hauntingly
catchy new single, Toxic Teddy Bear, a brutally honest anthem about masking toxic behavior
behind the soft blanket of self-improvement.
Written in Sydney alongside powerhouse collaborators Josh King, Jess Humphries, and
ARIA-nominated producer Liam Quinn, Toxic Teddy Bear is a self-aware confession wrapped
in glossy hooks and dark-pop production. With its clever lyricism and melancholic groove,
the track explores the idea of using therapy-speak and “growth” narratives to excuse toxic
patterns — while still being the problem.

” Hannah Stow says.
“You can say all the right things, act
like you’ve done the work — but no amount of self help podcasts or books will hide actions
that are clear as day. This song holds a mirror to that.

With hypnotic guitar riffs, layered harmonies, and lyrics that teeter between vulnerability
and manipulation, Toxic Teddy Bear is both an emotional gut-punch and a tongue-in-cheek
take on modern accountability culture.

Following a string of well-received releases this year, Hannah is set to perform at Perth’s
Milk Bar on August 8, and will open for AVIVA this October, further solidifying her growing
presence in the Indie-pop scene.
