Strong Antimony and Gold Results confirm Banshee prospectivity at Great Divide Mining’s (ASX:GDM) Coonambula project.

Outstanding results have been reported by Dart Mining (ASX: DTM) from surface and in-situ sampling at GDM’s Coonambula Antimony-Gold Project in Central Queensland, where Dart is earning an interest under a farm-in joint venture with GDM.

Sampling across the historic Banshee Mine area returned high-grade antimony up to 65.3% Sb, Gold over 17.0 g/t Au, and Silver over 97.9 g/t Ag from multiple zones of massive stibnite and veined quartz material.

“These are the highest recorded assay results to date from the Banshee Mine,” said GDM’s CEO Justin Haines. “This reinforces its potential as a significant Antimony-Gold-Silver system within the broader Coonambula project area.”

“Dart’s results add strong momentum to GDM’s Queensland portfolio,” he said.

“The grades being returned from Banshee are exceptional and confirm the scale of opportunity our joint venture partners are uncovering at Coonambula,” said Haines.

“Antimony is a critical modern mineral, and these results demonstrate why GDM positioned early in this highly prospective district.”

“Dart Mining has already commenced initial drilling at Coonambula to follow up these surface results and is working toward defining a JORC-compliant antimony-gold resource,” said Haines.

Coonambula lies 70 km southeast of Evolution Mining’s Cracow gold mine and 25 km southwest of the Eidsvold goldfield in a historically significant mining district. Cracow’s Golden Plateau delivered over 850 koz of gold between 1932 and 1992, and since mining recommenced the Cracow fields have produced more than 2 million ounces of gold. The Eidsvold goldfield delivered around 98 koz of gold in the early 20th‑century, along with documented antimony lodes historically mined in the nearby McKonkey Creek area. Located nearby, the Banshee Antimony complex, located between Cracow and Eidsvold, was worked intermittently from 1876 to 1983 producing direct shipping Antimony ore.
