Gold Coast, Queensland – Integrated construction site safety specialists Buildsafe is continuing its national expansion with the opening of its new Hervey Bay location.
This new site will act as the focal point for the company’s activities across the Wide Bay – Burnett region – home to one of the fastest growing populations in Queensland – as it consolidates its presence across the South East corner of the state.
This announcement comes off the back of continued growth across the east coast of Australia as one of the country’s leaders of site safety solutions continues to grow its footprint off the back of the current construction boom across the residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors.
For Buildsafe Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mike Shipton this new location will complement the businesses existing centres covering the Gold Coast, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.
“Demand from builders based in the Wide-Bay-Burnett region for Buildsafe products, services and solutions is what drove this decision,” said Mr Shipton.
“Residential construction growth is reaching such a high level in the region that despite us having a sizeable presence on the Sunshine Coast we could not service both areas from this location anymore due to demand. This move sees Buildsafe consolidate its foothold as the category leader for fall safety solutions in South East Queensland and mirrors its growth across New South Wales and Victoria.”
