PRESS RELEASE: iFLY Celebrates Inclusion with Free Flights for People Living with Disability

Australia – This International Day of People with Disability (Wednesday 3 December 2025), iFLY Indoor Skydiving will celebrate inclusion, confidence and community by giving away 60 free flights to people living with disability across its Sydney (iFLY Downunder, Penrith) and Gold Coast tunnels.

Now in its sixth year, the initiative reflects iFLY’s long-standing commitment to accessibility and its belief that everyone should have the chance to experience the thrill of flight.

This year’s global theme, Fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress, aligns with iFLY’s ongoing mission to raise awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability through action and participation.

iFLY’s Entertainment Marketing Manager Holly Jaadla said the event is one of the most meaningful days on the iFLY calendar.

“Each year, we’re humbled to see the sense of joy and empowerment that comes from taking flight,” said Holly. “For many participants, it’s not just about the thrill, it’s about being seen, included and celebrated for who they are. That’s what this day is all about.”

Among iFLY’s passionate advocates is All Abilities Ambassador Greg Pinson, who was diagnosed with spina bifida and uses a wheelchair.

“That first flight gave me the exhilaration and freedom I was looking for, and I was instantly hooked,” said Greg. “It’s incredible to see so many people with different abilities discover what’s possible when barriers are removed.”

Event Details

The IDPWD Free Flight Event will take place on Wednesday 3 December 2025, with complimentary flight sessions at 1pm, 4pm and 6pm.
There are 30 free flights available per venue, with carers and family welcome to accompany participants into the tunnel waiting area.
