PRESS RELEASE: SolarCloud launches mobile app on Apple App Store and Google Play
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – 25 September 2026 – SolarCloud has announced that its mobile app is now available on the Apple App Store for iPhone and Google Play for Android, giving customers a simple, convenient way to monitor their remote solar, track AU$ credits and manage their account from their phone.
Through SolarCloud, customers own real solar hosted and maintained on commercial rooftops in high-sunlight locations around the world. The value of the electricity generated is converted into AU$ credits, paid quarterly to an Australian electricity or gas account, or a nominated bank account. No panels or physical battery are required at the customer’s property.

Solar and credits, clearly displayed
The app brings key information together in an easy-to-follow dashboard, including:
• Solar portfolio and generation. Monitor SolarCloud holdings and the energy their solar produces, with key information accessible from their phone.
• Actual and upcoming credits. See the most recent credit received, the estimated upcoming credit and the next scheduled quarterly credit date.
• Credit history at a glance. Review previous credits and switch between quarterly and yearly charts to see how credits have accumulated over time.
• A longer-term view. See projected total credits over the ownership term, alongside average quarterly and estimated annual credit amounts, with estimates distinguished from payments already received.
Your credits. Your choice.
Customers can nominate where their quarterly AU$ credits go: their electricity account, gas account or a nominated bank account. SolarCloud works with every Australian energy retailer, so there is no need to switch companies to participate.
Owners can also link more than one energy account and allocate their solar across them. That can include another property or helping a family member with their energy bill.
Moving home or changing energy retailer does not mean leaving their solar behind. Customers retain ownership and can update their linked account details as their circumstances change.
Less administration. More convenience.
Once the nominated energy account is linked, quarterly credits are applied automatically. The app puts account access and credit information within easy reach, without needing to sit down at a computer.
SolarCloud manages the hosting, monitoring, maintenance and cleaning of the solar. Customers do not need to organise installation at their property or manage rooftop equipment themselves.
