PRESS RELEASE: Ability Sciences announces the appointment of Rob Fitzpatrick as Commercial Advisor to its Board of Directors

Ability Sciences Pty Ltd is pleased to announce that Rob Fitzpatrick is joining the group as Commercial Advisor to the Board of Directors. Ability Sciences’ wholly-owned subsidiary, Ability Map Pty Ltd, is an Australian leader in Workforce Capability technology solutions, working with some of the globe’s most recognised brands.

Rob is an experienced corporate advisor, investor, CEO and company director, with expertise in commercialisation, technology, innovation and hyper-growth businesses.

About Rob Fitzpatrick
During a career spanning three decades, Rob has represented Australia’s Property and Technology sectors at the highest levels domestically and internationally. He has demonstrated capabilities in corporate strategy, sales and marketing at McKinsey & Company in Australia, Europe and Asia; telecommunications at SingTel Optus; technology innovation at shopfast.com.au and Gelion Technologies, and commercialisation of early stage research at Data61. Rob has been a foundation investor in technology based start-ups and a company director influencing technology adoption in traditional businesses.

As a CEO and senior executive, Rob has been involved in raising over A$100M for Australian technology-based start-ups, has developed founding client relationships and established global supply chain partnerships. During his eight years at McKinsey & Company he worked with large public and private sector boards and during the past 15 years has brought these skills to Boards across a range of organisations including MLA, AARNet and Charles Sturt University.

Rob has Economics and Law degrees from the University of Sydney, a Master in Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Rob is an active family man, avid traveller, ocean swimmer and surfer.
