PRESS RELEASE: Australian Lighting Company LiquidLEDs Becomes Dulora, Taking Its Sight-Restoring Mission to the UK and Europe

Sydney, Australia, 22 July 2026: After more than 15 years selling LED lighting to Australians under the LiquidLEDs name, Sydney-based lighting company LiquidLEDs has rebranded as Dulora.

The reason is refreshingly practical. The company is expanding into the United Kingdom and Europe, and a trademark conflict meant the LiquidLEDs name couldn’t make the trip.

“The honest answer is trademarks,” said Michael Moskvin, the company’s founder and CEO. “We’ve been planning our UK and European launch for a while, and we simply couldn’t register LiquidLEDs over there. So we had a choice: run two brands in different markets, or find one name we could take everywhere. We chose the second option, and once we started working on it, we realised it was a chance to build the brand this business should have had all along.”

Dulora launches with the tagline “Atmosphere, Illuminated” and the same product range LiquidLEDs customers know: LED filament bulbs, GU10 and MR16 spotlights, festoon lighting, dimmers and drivers, all designed and managed from Sydney. The company has served more than 100,000 customers since it started in 2010 and now operates local storefronts for Australia, New Zealand and the UK, with a British fulfilment centre coming online to speed up delivery for customers in the UK and Europe.

The name is new. The fixation on light quality is not.

“From day one, back in 2010, our aim has been to provide the highest quality light available to the market,” said Moskvin. “People are tired of flickering lights. They’re tired of the harsh, greenish light that makes their home feel like an office. That’s why we’ve pushed so hard on ultra-high CRI and flicker-free technology across the range. Bad light wears you down. Most people don’t realise how much until they fix it.”

A lighting company that helps people see

In November last year, the company became a partner of The Fred Hollows Foundation, the Australian organisation working to end avoidable blindness in more than 25 countries. Dulora donates a portion of every LED bulb and globe sold to help fund sight-restoring surgeries, a commitment carried over from the LiquidLEDs days and now built into the new brand.

“We’ve supported the Salvation Army for many years, but I wanted to back an Australian foundation whose work connected with what we actually do,” said Moskvin. “We spend our days thinking about how people see. Fred Hollows spent his life restoring sight to people who’d lost it. The two just resonate. A company that sells light, helping people see again, it makes sense in a way that’s hard to put into words.”

Customers with existing LiquidLEDs accounts have been automatically carried over to Dulora, including order history and trade pricing. The company also operates a dedicated trade portal for electricians, interior designers and specifiers.
