PRESS RELEASE: Australian singer Charlie Mitchell’s new single by Narada Michael Walden set for release May 3
Charlie Mitchell, the 16 year old singer who has been called a “prodigy” by his multiple Grammy Award winning producer Narada Michael Walden, the producer known for producing Whitney Houston’s “The Bodyguard” soundtrack as well as her biggest hits, not to mention his work with Aretha Franklin, Barbra Streisand, George Michael and Mariah Carey, will see his first single released in 22 countries on May 3rd, just weeks away.
The song will go on Pre-Sale on Apple iTunes on April 20th and available throughout the world on all music platforms.
“The first single, entitled “Even After,” is especially significant during a time where the world needed hope again,” says Walden. “It’s dedicated to our mom’s, and all those we’ve lost during Covid and loss in general. It’s a healing song.”
The song, which was written by Brian Evans, Jesse Stenger, with the melody coming from the 16 year old Mitchell, will be released throughout Australia via Play MPE, and will also be distributed to 18 Latin American countries, the United States nationally, and in Canada.
“One of the proudest accomplishments of my life is seeing this kid get a shot, and getting Narada to produce him. His ability to sing these original songs is truly unique, and he has this gift of interpreting a song for which I have never seen the likes, and he’s the first artist I have ever brought to Narada’s attention.”
“Even After,” which is the singers debut single, certainly won’t be the last.
“This is a superstar in the making,” says Walden.
Brian Evans and Jesse Stenger are the Executive Producers of the work now being produced by Walden.
