Vieple has a range of crowd favourite features that have simplified the recruitment process for its clients. Among these features are Anonymous Mode, Audio Only Mode and Discrepancy Flag, all developed to minimise bias.
Anonymous mode allows for candidates’ personal information to be hidden, removing the candidate’s name and email when being reviewed by a rater. Without being entirely aware of it ourselves, it is possible to make negative judgements about a person based on things like name (it may be unfamiliar for example).
Audio only review mode allows you to hide any video recordings and allow you to listen to the audio only and focus on the candidate’s responses and not their appearance.
The discrepancy flag feature in the system is a red flag against scores that have more than two points difference between reviewers, allowing an Admin to review that scores are consistent with the scoring guide and ensure there is no unconscious bias creeping in.
