PRESS RELEASE: Bondi Junction Ayurveda Clinic Wins Waverley Council Business Award
SYDNEY, NSW, 16 October 2026: Ayurvedic Wellness Centre won the Beauty & Cosmetic Services category at Waverley Council’s Brightest & Best Business Awards 2026. The Bondi Junction clinic received the award on Wednesday, 14 October, at Bondi Pavilion.
The clinic was a finalist among 242 local businesses. Judges also named it one of the top six finalists for Business of the Year, awarded to the highest-performing business across the program.
Waverley Council runs the Brightest & Best Business Awards annually to celebrate businesses that make Waverley a better place to live, work and shop. Any business in the Waverley local government area can nominate itself, from shopfronts to home-based operators.
The Beauty & Cosmetic Services category recognises businesses that offer beauty treatments, self-care services and holistic wellness support. Ayurvedic Wellness Centre shared the shortlist with Laser by Tom, Melt Nail Bar, Sage Beauty and The One Bondi.
Winners were decided through two rounds of judging and an independent mystery shopper assessment. Between August and September 2026, a mystery shopper anonymously booked and received a service from each finalist, just like a regular client.

“Ayurvedic Wellness Centre has been part of the local community for many years, and it’s a privilege to continue building on that foundation while bringing Ayurveda to people in a way that feels relevant, approachable and meaningful today,” said Dr. Kaushal.
As category winner, Ayurvedic Wellness Centre receives a category trophy and an award certificate signed by the Mayor of Waverley. The clinic will display both at its Bondi Road premises.
Ayurveda is a traditional system of medicine that began in India. Practitioners assess each person’s constitution, lifestyle and current imbalances, then create a personalised plan from consultations, therapeutic massage, herbal support and lifestyle guidance.
