Brisbane – A Brisbane-based Clinical Psychologist, is set to release a debut series of children’s books designed to assist children in navigating complex emotional situations. Clinical Psychologist now author, Olivia Yaksich, has penned a number of books aimed to help young readers and their families navigate stressors with an attachment-focused approach.
The debut book titled, Dani the Dachshund – Learns about his Fire Alarm, introduces Dani, a cute sausage dog who learns about his fight or flight system—what triggers it, how to recognise it, and most importantly, how to manage feelings of anxiety when faced with stress.
The delightful story is also a valuable resource for health professionals, teachers, parents and carers seeking ways to address challenging conversations with children.
