PRESS RELEASE: Cloud-based project software boosts HammondCare’s capacity to deliver on a growing capital works program – and help more older people in need

HammondCare, a specialist in complex care focusing on dementia and palliative care nationally, has successfully transitioned to a cloud-based system for project and financial management with the implementation of UniPhi software.
A growing projects and capital works portfolio of residential care homes, overnight respite cottages and hospitals enables HammondCare to expand its Mission to improve quality of life of people in need to even more people. The independent Christian charity cared for more than 38,000 people at 99 locations last year.
HammondCare’s small projects and capital works team recognised the need to enhance efficiency with its capital works program by moving away from manual, time-consuming processes. Prior to implementing UniPhi, major capital works projects were managed using multiple systems, including spreadsheets and standalone reporting tools.
“Implementing UniPhi has transformed the way we manage projects and financial reporting. By moving away from outdated manual processes, we now have real-time visibility over critical information, allowing us to make informed decisions based on accurate data,”
said Katie Formston, Head of Design – Property and Capital Works at HammondCare.
“Delivering our projects pipeline as efficiently as possible is an important way we can achieve our goal to support as many people as possible in need.”
UniPhi is an award-winning project and portfolio management system that provides a centralised platform for financial tracking, reporting, and project oversight. By integrating all project and financial data into one cloud-based system, HammondCare has improved data accuracy, streamlined approvals, and enhanced overall project efficiency.
“At UniPhi, we believe technology should simplify and empower, not complicate. Seeing HammondCare leverage our software to gain greater clarity and control and efficiently manage complex projects is exactly why we do what we do,”
said Mark Heath, CEO of UniPhi.
“Their commitment to continuous improvement is truly inspiring, and we’re proud to be part of their journey.”
As part of its long-term strategy, HammondCare is working towards further integrations between UniPhi and its existing financial management platforms, ensuring a seamless and efficient approach to capital works management.
