PRESS RELEASE: Dunsteel Engineering achieves first Triple ISO Certification

Moss Vale, NSW | 17 July 2026 – Dunsteel Engineering has achieved its first Triple ISO Certification, marking an important milestone in the company’s continued growth and commitment to quality, workplace safety and environmental responsibility.
Following independent certification by Intertek SAI Global, Dunsteel Engineering’s management system has been certified to:
• ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management Systems
• ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management Systems
• ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
The certifications apply to the design, procurement, fabrication, welding, painting and installation of steel structures undertaken from Dunsteel’s Moss Vale facility.
The achievement confirms that Dunsteel’s integrated management systems have been independently assessed against internationally recognised standards for quality, environmental management and occupational health and safety.
Dunsteel Engineering General Manager Joshua Dunlop said the certification provided formal recognition of the systems and standards already being embedded across the business.
“Achieving our first Triple ISO Certification is an important milestone for Dunsteel and reflects the investment we have made in strengthening the way we operate,” Josh Dunlop said.
“For our clients, it provides greater confidence that our projects are supported by consistent systems for quality, safety, environmental responsibility and accountability. It also gives us a stronger platform to continue growing and taking on increasingly complex structural steel projects.”
The integrated management system covers Dunsteel’s operations from tendering and engineering through to procurement, fabrication, welding, surface treatment, inspection, testing, installation and final delivery.
This includes systems designed to support:
• consistent compliance with customer, statutory and Australian Standards requirements;
• material traceability and quality control throughout fabrication;
• the identification and management of workplace health and safety risks;
• responsible resource use, waste reduction and environmental improvement; and
• performance monitoring, internal audits, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
Compliance Manager Joshua Selvin, who helped lead the certification process, said the achievement represented much more than meeting an external compliance requirement.
“These certifications are not simply badges. They recognise the strength and maturity of the systems, processes and governance framework that have been developed and embedded across Dunsteel’s operations,” Joshua Selvin said.
“From engineering and procurement through to fabrication, welding, inspection and delivery, the objective has been to create a controlled and consistent approach that supports reliable project outcomes while protecting our people and reducing our environmental impact.”
The certification process included a formal assessment of Dunsteel’s management systems by Intertek SAI Global. Maintaining certification will require ongoing development, annual surveillance audits and a recertification audit at the end of the three-year certification cycle.
Josh Dunlop recognised the contribution of the broader Dunsteel team in achieving the milestone.
“This result belongs to the entire Dunsteel team. It requires discipline and teamwork to turn documented systems into the way we work every day,” he said.
The certifications provide Dunsteel clients and project partners with independent assurance that the company operates under internationally recognised management systems across quality, environmental responsibility and workplace health and safety.
