PRESS RELEASE: Former Australian Police – Taking on Predators

Cyber Street Safe, founded by two experienced former Australian Police Officers with backgrounds inclusive of AFP, United Nations, NSW Crime Commission and NSW Police have researched and identified gaps within the Working With Children Processes in Australian states where predators can slip through.

To combat this, CSS have created a system which will empower employers, volunteer organisations and sporting groups, to confidently interview and assess potential employees and volunteers involved with working alongside children.

The process has been carefully designed through the lens of protectors to flag potential risky applicants and bolster the lacklustre WWCC processes presently in place which has demonstrated vulnerability with the recent arrest and charging of a male person for allegedly commuting in excess of 1,600 child abuse offences while working at a Child Care Centre.
