PRESS RELEASE: GDM CONFIRMS BROAD SHALLOW GOLD ZONES AT COONAMBULA

Great Divide Mining Ltd (ASX:GDM) has welcomed new drilling results from the Coonambula Antimony–Gold Project in Queensland, confirming the presence of broad, shallow gold zones at the Banshee Prospect.
The results, released by joint venture partner Dart Mining, continue to build confidence in the scale and continuity of gold mineralisation, with multiple shallow intersections supporting the potential for a larger mineralised system.
Chief Executive Officer Justin Haines said the latest drilling outcomes marked another step forward in understanding the project.
“These results continue to build confidence in the scale and continuity of gold mineralisation at Coonambula,” Mr Haines said, “in addition to previously announced very significant Antimony drilling results.”
“The identification of broader gold zones at shallow depth is particularly encouraging, especially where earlier drilling may not have fully captured the extent of the system,” Haines continued.
“The drilling program has now confirmed gold mineralisation extending along strike and at depth, with diamond drilling providing improved geological clarity compared to historical work,” said Haines.
Importantly, the emerging picture suggests that broader zones of gold mineralisation may play a more significant role in the overall project than previously understood.
The Coonambula Project is being advanced under a farm-in joint venture, with ongoing drilling and analysis aimed at defining a maiden mineral resource.
Mr Haines said the focus remains on steady, disciplined progress.
“The joint venture program is progressing as planned, with a clear focus on defining a mineral resource through systematic drilling and improved geological understanding.”
“Drilling and sample processing activities are continuing as seasonal conditions improve, with further results expected as the program advances.”
Great Divide Mining is focused on developing producing and near-term production assets across its portfolio, with Coonambula representing a key exploration and development opportunity.
