As a long-term partner of the Foundation, GJK Facility Services and its co-founder, George Stamas AM, have been active contributors to Epworth’s mission since 2018. George Stamas AM has served on the Board of Epworth Medical Foundation and GJK Facility Services has played an integral role in collaborating with the Foundation to make a difference in the lives of patients in need.

One of the highlights of this partnership was the recent 3rd Annual “Friends of Epworth” Race Day, held at Flemington. An event that seamlessly combined a fun and social atmosphere with a passionate commitment to fundraising for Epworth’s cause. As an event sponsor for the third consecutive year, GJK Facility Services took immense pride in supporting the event and providing funds to help Epworth Hospital acquire state-of-the-art medical equipment.

On this momentous day, attendees showed immense support for the foundation, allowing the event to raise a record-breaking amount of over $150,000. This exceptional achievement is a testament to the generosity and goodwill of those attending, as well as their recognition of the importance of Epworth’s mission.

The funds raised during the “Friends of Epworth” Race Day will be instrumental in purchasing cutting-edge medical equipment and further advancing the quality of care offered at Epworth Hospital.
