GT Advisory & Consulting strengthens team with three new appointments
Gold Coast, QLD – GT Advisory & Consulting has appointed three new professionals as the independently owned insolvency and restructuring practice expands its capacity across South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
Ben Stubbings, Aline Ziolkoski and Tatum Schlaphoff have joined the Bundall-based firm. The three appointments bring the team to seven and add depth across corporate insolvency, personal insolvency and restructuring.
Founder and principal Glenn O’Kearney said the appointments reflect sustained demand for the firm’s services in the region.
‘We have seen a consistent increase in appointment volumes across South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales over the past 12 months,’ Mr O’Kearney said.
‘Ben, Aline and Tatum each bring a different perspective and skill set, and their addition allows us to take on more complex, concurrent engagements while maintaining the direct partner involvement our clients expect.’
Ben Stubbings joins as the most senior of the three new appointments, bringing nine years of experience spanning corporate finance, corporate advisory, restructuring and insolvency. He spent the previous three years working in London before returning to Australia and joining GT Advisory in October 2025. Ben has worked across voluntary administrations, receiverships and liquidations on the corporate side, and personal insolvency matters including bankruptcy. He is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, having completed his CA qualification in 2020.
Tatum Schlaphoff commenced with the firm in April 2026 after building her early career across insolvency and audit. A Bond University graduate with a Bachelor of Actuarial Science (Finance), Tatum began in insolvency as a graduate in Brisbane in early 2024 before undertaking a role as an audit analyst within an integrated advisory and accounting firm on the Gold Coast. Her background in risk assessment, financial modelling and data-driven analysis has given her a strong foundation for evaluating financial distress. She returned to insolvency motivated by a desire to support businesses and individuals through periods of financial difficulty.
Aline Ziolkoski began her career as an insolvency intern in Perth in June 2023, and explored a range of accountancy career paths before she graduated in September 2024. Her early experience involved mining-related insolvency projects across Western Australia. She is now based on the East Coast and works across the firm’s corporate and advisory matters. Aline is working towards her Chartered Accountant qualification, which she intends to complete by the end of 2027.
