Emphatically taking a step forward in her career, singer/songwriter Hattie Oates is set to released her new single ‘GOODBYE’ on Wednesday 5 October 2022.

In this song, Hattie bequeaths a firm farewell to the thoughts, moments, emotions, and most importantly, people, that have provided nothing but negativity to her.

“GOODBYE started as a self pep talk and then spiralled into a passive-aggressive realisation, that I can only thank the people that made it so clear they don’t belong in my life,” Hattie said.

“I felt like I needed to get these lyrics off my chest!”

With sarcastic undertones, the track represents a new era of empowerment for the 19-year-old singer as she finds her footing in the music industry, and navigates the challenges of early adulthood.

Artists such as DYLAN, Pink, and The Killers serve as Hattie’s main sources of inspiration for the catchy track.

For Hattie, GOODBYE signifies a “shift in direction” for her career.

“GOODBYE is the perfect song to begin my next chapter as an artist. I’m so excited for what’s to come,” she said.
