Korea Had K-Beauty. Japan Had J-Beauty. Now Taiwan Wants the Crown — and Two Australians Are Bringing It Here.
A 20-year-old Taiwanese skincare brand with a presence in 30 countries launches in Australia, aiming to put T-Beauty on the map.
BRISBANE, QLD — Wed Aug 12, 2026 — K-Beauty and J-Beauty have become global skincare phenomena. Now a Sunshine Coast husband-and-wife team with over 20 years experience in the Beauty industry, believes Taiwan is ready for its turn.
Paul and Cath Collins are bringing HD Professional, a Taiwanese skincare brand with more than 20 years of international experience and a presence in 30 countries, to Australia.
Their ambition is to introduce Australian consumers to T-Beauty, Taiwanese Beauty: skincare combining Taiwan’s advanced technology, manufacturing expertise and high-performance ingredients.
Australia is ready for the next Asian beauty wave.
Australia is already one of the world’s strongest markets for Korean beauty.
According to data from Future Market Insights reported by the ABC, Australians are the world’s biggest per-capita spenders on South Korean beauty products outside South Korea itself. Australia’s K-beauty products market is also forecast to grow at a 12.2% compound annual growth rate between 2026 and 2033, according to Grand View Research.
“We believe Taiwan is the next market consumers are going to start talking about,” said Paul Collins, CEO of HD Professional Australia.
“Australian consumers have already embraced Asian skincare. We think T-Beauty is the next chapter.”
