Local Australian brand planning global expansion
11 years ago, Sam Tucker with his wife Cindy started the Tucker’s Natural Gourmet Cracker brand based on their personal philosophy of healthier quality eating.
Sam is a qualified chef and a graduate of the ICHM (International College of Hotel Management) enabling him to develop a product that supported this philosophy.
The Tucker’s Natural brand was launched in 2007 as an all-natural premium gourmet cracker brand, oven baked and hand-made. It has now developed to be a free from GMO, soy, yeast and no artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives brand.
From the first range of Gourmet Crackers it has expanded to include Gluten Free Bites, Gourmet Bites, Fibre Packed Snack Crackers, Fruit Bites, Cheese & Cracker Snacks, Cracker & Dips Snacks and Fruit Pastes.

“With a push into new export markets, it seemed the right time to refresh the brand,” said Sam Tucker, Managing Director. “We wanted to reflect the freshness of ingredients we use in our products such as freshly hand-chopped coriander, chives, cheese and butter.
We also wanted to tell the story of our beginnings, which was and still is, an Australian family business,” said Sam
The Gourmet Crackers and Gourmet Bites ranges feature an ‘Instagram’ look with fresh ingredients used in each flavour and a serving suggestion displayed.
“Renowned photographer Randy Larcombe and Food Stylist Suzy Ting delivered on the authenticity of how we make our products and how our customers consume them,” said Sam.
The newly renamed Fibre Packed range also features the natural ingredients it uses and the healthy benefits of the product.
“On the back of all our packaging is a picture of myself, Cindy and our boys, which was taken by Randy. It truly reflects why we started this business to provide healthier eating and snacking options for our family,” said Sam.
The packs also have a slimmer profile which has reduced packaging and enabled 10 units to be packed per carton instead of 6- reducing energy and paper wastage.
“We are mindful of our environmental footprint and are always looking at ways to reduce this,” said Sam.
The new look brand is being progressively launched into Australian retail from January 2019 with the China, UK and USA markets on the horizon.
“2019 will be a big year as we set up for global distribution of both our brands and contract manufacturing with new manufacturing equipment arriving late in the year to meet the demands,” said Sam Tucker
