Get Onboard Boat Expo Returns to Brisbane – June 27–28, 2025
Brisbane, QLD – Following the enthusiastic response to last year’s event, the Get Onboard Boat Expo – Brisbane is returning for an exciting encore this June. Hosted in collaboration with Yachtshare, Freedom Boat Club Brisbane, and the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron (RQYS), the expo will take place on Friday 27 June (3pm–7pm) and Saturday 28 June (10am–5pm) at RQYS in Manly.

This vibrant, community-focused event offers an engaging alternative to larger-scale boat shows. Designed to inspire both seasoned mariners and curious newcomers, the expo will showcase a curated selection of vessels, marine services, and educational opportunities in a relaxed, accessible atmosphere.

Highlights of the Event Include:
– On-land exhibits on the RQYS Main Rigging Lawn featuring trailer boats, boating accessories, and maritime industry providers.
– On-water showcases at RQYS’ berths (A/B Row), displaying luxury private yacht charters and Yachtshare syndicate vessels.

A standout feature of the weekend will be Yachtshare’s official launch party on Saturday evening, celebrating the newest addition to its fleet: Absolution, the stunning Absolute Navetta 48. All attendees are invited to join the celebration.

“Sanctuary Cove is a major event, but we’ve found that smaller expos create deeper engagement,” said a spokesperson for Yachtshare. “By hosting multiple events each year—in Winter and Summer —we hope to grow a more connected and confident boating community.”

Free & Open to the Public

The Get Onboard Boat Expo is free to attend, and exhibitor fees are kept minimal to encourage wide participation. Expressions of interest from marine brands, sailing schools, gear suppliers, and boating businesses are now open for the Summer event to be held in November.

Whether you’re looking to buy your first boat, expand your marine knowledge, or connect with others who love the water—this is your chance to get onboard.
