Mick Gatto Denies All Allegations Made on 60 Minutes, in The Age Newspaper, and repeated by James Paterson and Peter Dutton.

Melbourne, VIC – Dominic (Mick) Gatto, a well-known Melbourne businessman, today strongly denied the recent allegations aired on the 60 Minutes program and published in The Age newspaper. The claims, which have been made without substantiated evidence, are categorically false and misleading.

Mr. Gatto is particularly concerned by recent comments made by Peter Dutton, the Leader of the Opposition, and Senator James Paterson who have repeated these unfounded allegations in the public domain. In response, Mr. Gatto states:

“First and foremost, I deny all of the accusations made against me in both the 60 Minutes segment and The Age articles. These assertions are baseless, sensationalised, and damaging to my reputation and personal life. I have always conducted my business and personal affairs with integrity, and I will not allow these falsehoods to tarnish my name. It is deeply concerning that Mr. Peter Dutton and Mr. James Paterson have repeated these same allegations without any regard for the truth or the harm they cause.”

Mr. Gatto calls on 60 Minutes, The Age, Peter Dutton and James Paterson to retract the claims made and issue a formal apology for spreading unverified information that has harmed his standing in the community. He further asserts that any ongoing public discussion based on these claims lacks the legal and factual foundation necessary for such allegations to be credible.

“I will be exploring all legal avenues to protect my reputation and hold accountable those who have allowed or enabled these false accusations to be made. I am confident that the truth will prevail,” Mr. Gatto added.
