The research demonstrates that heat therapy works by improving blood circulation, reducing muscle stiffness, and decreasing inflammation. The review, analysing 30 studies involving over 1,000 patients, demonstrates that continuous low-level heat therapy achieves up to 45% reduction in pain intensity and 50% improvement in functional mobility.
